Visit to Highgreen, Northumberland

A unique opportunity has arisen to be part of drawing? – a regional contemporary drawing initiative. drawing? Is a regional initiative that explores contemporary drawing. Sangini has been given an opportunity to be part of this initiative through participatory workshops in Northumberland. Both Visual Arts in Rural Communities and Customs House have collaborated to bring this unique opportunity to the members of Sangini.

The workshop is limited to six women from BME background and takes place over a weekend on 26th and 27th September at Tarset, Highgreen Northumberland. This will be followed by two follow up activities in October on 16th and 17th October.
