A new art project is being set up at All Saints Parish Hall, Cleadon, Sunderland beginning on 8th September 10 am – 12 pm till 6th October for women of all ages living in and around Cleadon and Cleadon Park.

Led by experienced artist Miki Zea, these workshops will be serious fun and show interesting ways of creative expressions. The project aims to encourage women to come forward to learn new skills, meet new friends and develop confidence in expressing themselves using mixed media.
The project is organized by Sangini (a friend in Hindi). Sangini's aim is to improve the quality of women's lives by increasing their participation in artistic, cultural and social activities and thereby also celebrate cultural diversity. Sangini seeks to reach BME, disadvantaged and excluded women in innovative and creative ways whilst providing opportunities for tackling inequalities
