Srijoni Women’s Project

A group of 7 women, from the Srijoni Women’s Group worked with local artists over 3 months participating in a range of arts activities including jewelery workshops at the National Glass Centre. They designed and created a mosaic wall plaque of the Diamond Hall Infant School Logo. The project created an opportunity for the women to develop textile skills and exhibit their work to an open audience, the wellbeing aims of the project succeeded in increasing confidence and reducing a sense of isolation.
